July 2016 – Bygrove Sports Day Volunteering – Friday 1 July

One of the amazing sides to my current employer is its focus on giving back – one of the firms core values.

I was privileged to be part of a team of people working at the Bygrove Sports day. It is amazing how much focus and money the government invests in public schools in regard to sports. However, much of that money does never get used for sport events as the schools need the money for more important things the schools desperately need. Many of these children had no proper sports wear or did know how to perform some of the tasks we have been privileged to learn at our schools.
